Hey friends!
I’ve been thinking so much about how ideas – those longings we have to create something – actually get done. As a creative spirit, I have A TON of ideas. All the time. They keep me up at night. They tug on my sleeves during the day, like small children saying, “Pick me! Pay attention to me!”
Often, it’s hard to know which idea to choose, which one to tend to and grow. Confusion sets in.
Other times, the gremlins arrive: It’s too hard. It’s already been done. I’m not ready.
Here’s what I’ve learned to be true:
Our ideas are our soul’s calling, our life’s possibilities. They are not just an opportunity to grow our own lives up into more light, but they’re a sacred opportunity to help others live up into more light, too.
Your idea is needed. Your teaching is needed. Your voice is needed.
And guess what else? Going from idea to done can be full of joy and ease! I promise!
