Hi friend,

I didn’t know it at first, but as I made my way into the creative life, I unexpectedly learned that the process of creating art is a beautiful practice in deepening our lessons around healing, courage, imperfections, change, and so much more.

I learned that if I was willing to lean into all that came up for me on the canvas and still stay with myself and the painting until it was finished, I could do the same with all the aspects of my life that needed tending and attention off the canvas.

I became freer, happier, braver, and more aware of my limiting beliefs / thoughts / actions. What I eventually realized was that my creative practice was ultimately about letting art out, so I could let love and healing and courage in.
