I’ve been working from home for about a week now. I’m looking forward to the day when I really fall into it, when there is a tried and true rhythm to my days. For now, I’m enjoying the newness of it. In the mornings, when I would be packing my lunch and getting ready to leave, I’m now slowly wandering around the house, cup of tea in hand, turning on all the lights and lamps, saying hello (and thank you) to each and every room as I make beds and roll up the blinds. I’m savoring it all. And I can tell I’m going to love it here. I will miss my old bright lovely office/studio, but yes, this feels really good.
And it feels like an exhale, like breath. I read a quote recently. I’m not sure who said it, but I love it. “Deep breaths are like little love notes to your body.” SO GOOD.
Big love,
